Cordovan from Banana Republic is the third men's fragrance in the Discover Collection; a range of distinctive scents inspired by luxurious natural materials and designed to evoke singular, personal moments in time through the memory of their aroma.

The Scent

The fragrance opens with fresh top notes of leafy green figs and zesty bergamot which leads to spicy notes of juniper berries, lavender and nutmeg. The scent dries down to a sexy and distinguished finish with notes of vintage leather, vetiver and iris root.

Adventurous, seductive and ruggedly masculine, the scent is reminiscent of a much loved and well travelled leather jacket; the leather note blends deliciously with the sensual iris and sweet, earthy vetiver for a deliciously evocative fragrance.

The Name

In keeping with the tradition of the Discover Collection, the name of the new fragrance is strong and masculine. Named after a luxurious, rare and very expensive leather, Cordovan calls to mind the rich colour and texture of this material.

The Bottle

The fragrance is displayed in a solid square glass bottle reminiscent of an old-fashioned inkwell, housed in a beautiful outer box made entirely of natural wood stained to a rich shade of red-brown. Evocative of a treasure box, the box clicks apart to reveal the fragrance nestled inside.
